Aloha La Palma Eco Boutique Resort

Welcome to Isla Bonita. La Palma, according to UNESCO, is the third most beautiful island in the world! And AI says it is the most beautiful island in Spain. But it's best to see for yourself. In the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, on the island of eternal spring, we welcome you with the Hawaiian greeting. Aloha! Spend the most important days of the year in enchanting tranquillity, in an elegant, newly designed retreat with a beautiful, shady palm garden. For us, Aloha means satisfying you with warmth and affection in pleasant surroundings. You will want for nothing. We are happy to familiarise you with Aloha and Hawaiian customs: we organise hula dance workshops and hold Hooponopono rituals on the beach. We are also happy to advise you on the best and cheapest way to fly here. Be inspired by our pictures and videos and follow the call of the island at the end of time.

The meaning of Aloha

The word Aloha means love, affection, charity, compassion, kindness or sympathy in Hawaiian. In Hawaii, it is mainly used as a greeting when arriving and departing. However, it can also mean darling or lover. It also stands for friendship. Each individual letter of the word Aloha has its own meaning and message Aloha means love. The word is used to say hello and goodbye, it means love, mercy, kindness and grace. But Aloha is all-encompassing and means so much more than can be expressed in a single word. Literally translated, it means ‘the presence of breath’. Alo means presence, front or face, and hâ means breath. Aloha is used to express or emphasise feelings, as you can see in the following Hawaiian sentences: Aloha `oe! – Greetings! Aloha (w)au ia `oe. – I love you. Aloha kākou. – May there be friendship/love between us. The Aloha spirit is not just a word or a myth, it is an attitude to life. The Aloha spirit has an ancient tradition and was already practised in ancient Hawaii. There, Aloha, Ohana and Mana were written in capital letters and taken seriously. These were traditions and customs that revolved around love, family (or community) and magic. Not magic as you might think, but the magic of living in harmony with nature and yourself.

Aloha La Palma – Holidays in harmony with the sun

Our Eco Boutique Resort generates all its electricity from photovoltaics. Hot water and the pool are heated by solar energy, and energy-saving LED lighting ensures a sustainable holiday feeling. Relax, enjoy and give something back to nature – that's what a holiday feels like.

The Eco Boutique Resort

We are located above the cosy seaside resort of Puerto Naos, at an altitude of 280 metres, with one of the best climates on the island. Over 100 palm trees, many mango, avocado, banana, pomegranate and orange trees grow on our 5500 m2 organic finca, and we are happy to supply you with produce depending on availability. The grounds are terraced on four levels and completely walled. This provides an omnipresent feeling of privacy and security. The exposed location guarantees you an unrestricted view of the Atlantic Ocean and the Cumbre Vieja mountain range. In just a few minutes, you can reach the most beautiful beaches and unique hiking trails on the island. Supermarkets, restaurants and everything else you need for daily life can be found in the immediate vicinity. Back in the Aloha garden, you can enjoy the peace and quiet in one of the hammocks or lounge swings and find inspiration while watching the butterflies, dragonflies, lizards and busy bees or with a good book in your hand. In the centre, a large round table invites you to ‘come together’. A holiday at Aloha La Palma means, first and foremost, lots of aloha, meeting nice people, slowing down, diving into the Indian green pool and returning home with your batteries recharged. Look forward to wonderful sunsets and the spectacular clear starry sky. Aloha E Komo Mai. Welcome.
